I'm very interested in the sequence of moving images at the beginning of this film. Grungy, dark and atmospheric.

Thomas Carlile: The purpose of this blog is to provide a platform for me to gather and assemble most of my seminal research for projects in addition to the sketchbooks i keep. One of the reasons for me creating this blog was that it gives me a more diverse medium to collate research, with the ability to post audio and video material that could never be included in the traditional paper sketchboook. The name was chosen in the hope that it might reflect the non-precious and relatively basic nature of a lot of the material on the site but at the same time conveying the importance of it in terms of it influencing decisions on further research into the same field.
